The Ditzel couple's cassette desk aesthetic is beyond both time and trends with its clean lines, conical shapes and craftsmanship refinements that create harmony for the eye. It is also the best known of a series of desks designed by the Ditzels between 1946 and 1961, the year of Jørgen Ditzel's death.

The desk was originally produced at Søren Willadsen Møbelfabrik in teak, oak and rosewood veneers, but has not been in production since the 1960s. Carpentergaarden has been working on the craftsmanship of the table for a long time and is now relaunching it in close dialogue with Nanna Ditzel Design A/S and the Ditzels' daughter, Dennie Ditzel.
