The low dresser Tallboy is a 3 drawer dresser that belongs to a series that Arne Vodder originally designed in the 1950s for the Danish manufacturer Sibast, the current variant is produced since 2014 by Snedkergaarden.
After the series was awarded at the Triennale in Milan, it quickly received this nickname at the time. A special detail here is the design of the drawers, which do without extra handles.
Danish designer Arne Vodder was a close friend and student of Finn Juhl, whose work inspired him greatly. However, Vodder became known for his own designs - especially the elegant sideboards and chests of drawers for the company Sibast. Vodder also designed various pieces of furniture for the Danish manufacturers Fritz Hansen and France & Son.
The Tallboy comes in Beech, Oak or Walnut in soaped or oiled finish. It can also be laquered or stained.
